Add the google I’m feeling lucky! search as a search provider in internet explorer

Google search has a lot of advanced search capabilities. An interesting feature is the “I’m feeling lucky” search option. It takes the user directly to the first search result without going through the search results page. If a user “is feeling lucky” :) , the search engine will return the perfect match to him . It can save a lot of time on certain search strings. According to a google employee, roughly 1% of the google searches are through this option and it costs google more that 110 million dollars annually as the ads on the search result page are now out of the question.Then why does google continue this?Well i guess google is not completely commercial ;) .Adding this search option to internet explorer can greatly enhance your browsing experience, as i had found it to be.

Managing,viewing,deleting and editing saved passwords in internet explorer

Have you ever tried editing,deleting,and managing passwords in internet explorer? or did you try to make internet explorer remember a password for a username that you’ve asked internet explorer previously not to remember? If you’ve done so, you probably know how painful it is!If you use other browsers such as firefox,safari,opera, or even chrome, they have all got a password manager. The fact that even internet explorer 8 beta 2 doesn’t have a password manager annoys me even more :( .IE stores passwords in a protected storage area in windows registry in an encrypted manner. If you go to delete browsing history and delete passwords, every saved password will be deleted. To delete individual usernames of a particular site, this information will help you. My today’s post is how to completely manage auto complete passwords and the way to deal with them in internet explorer for all you IE lovers!
